Intel NUC Kit, NUC7PJYH, 4-Core Pentium Silver J5005, DDR4 SO-DIMM, 2.5" SATA3 Bay, HD Graphics 605, 2x HDMI, Barebone is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with my NUC I bought this as a general office PC. I am really pleased with it. I love the small form factor - you can attach it to the back of your monitor if you wish. You have to add your own RAM and SSD, and you have to install an operating system. So you need to factor this in to the overall cost. But I though it was worth it and a good price for what you get. It seems well made and sturdy. And it has a 3 year warranty. I definitely would get another.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NUC's, Nuc's, nucs. I've now had 5 of these NUC's. I have reached my tether of buying from iNtel. Their products are beautiful, powerful and on the main worth spending money on them. But, all 5 have failed firstly on Bluetooth. Basically range fails first then after a while it just does not like the mini USB dongle in the PC. You can move it away via a cable and it will work again. But, the the screen keeps failing. They have all had the same problem where the screen goes blank but it's still functioning fine but you just can't use the PC. You'd think iNtel would follow up and investigate. Nah, their not interested, so now on the last two occasions I have had to ask for more cash back. All I can say is don't buy them. You choose though whatever you like but I warned you. Various types of NUC's tested, including an i7 version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value little box This is my second NUC, was not sure what to expect of the J5005 but I'm pleasantly surprised. I installed 8GB RAM and a 500GB SSD to use it as a Plex server with Windows 10. It runs everything very fast without any lag and very little loading time and the fan is almost silent. If you're after an HTPC, home server, or a simple quiet little desktop for basic computing you can't go wrong with this machine. It can even handle transcoding well. Oh and the new styling is great too. The all black case on this is a big improvement over previous models which now look dated and cheap in comparison.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent NUC for the price I have had this NUC (Pentium J5005) running as NAS/server 24x7 for around a month now. Works as expected no issues. Using Linux Ubuntu 18.04 LTS recognizes everything out of the box including wireless. I use two 2.5 inch hard drives, one inside the NUC, one on USB enclosure. It consumes about 7W with the USB drive connected. One word of caution - if you use a harddrive instead of an SSD (like me) you will hear the harddrive spinning and some vibration filters to the NUC - not an issue - I knew that could happen. But it is definitely designed for SSDs more than traditonal HDDs in mind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I purchased this Intel NUC along with 8GB RAM and SSD drive. It is really fast, perfect choice for office environment, I attached all to the back of the monitor for tidiness. I will definitely purchase again.

Max HDMI Resolution

Whats the max resolution the 2 HDMI outputs can display I have 2 monitors 2560 x 1440 and want to extend desktop on these
Asked by: sbouffe
It will take 2 x 4K monitors with no issues. Except when the whole computer seems to breakdown, usually the Bluetooth goes first then the screen goes blank on a regular basis.
