Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent overclocker 4.9ghz all cores After having a 5960x @ 4.6ghz for a number of years the 10980xe is definitely worth the upgrade. I undervolted the cpu to 1.23v set core ratio all cores to 49 and set a couple of sytem voltages for 4.9ghz. I'm using a alphacool eisbaer 420mm aio for cooling and at 100% load i am seeing temps between 80-85c. 11400 cinebench r20 4786 cinebench r15

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrade from a 5820K I was previously using a 5820k (OC at 4GHz) for games and productivity work (video and photo editing) and whilst it was good it was showing its age with productivity work. I have managed to OC the 10980XE to 5.1GHz on a AIO and managed to complete a few benchmarks but I run it daily at a minimum of 4GHz and allowing it to turbo to what it wants to.
