Rated 5 out of 5 by from Suprising I nearly bought the 10700k but after much research this CPU is all you need for gaming, i hit 5.1Ghz stable and this processor beats the 10900k/10700k with a matched frequency in gaming benchmarks and its just unreal. i didn't think the improvement would be that big compared to my previous 7700k but is nuts what an extra 2 cores and 4 threads can do. If you are doing video rendering or streaming or anything else then i would say consider the Ryzen 3700x or upward in that direction at least.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saw this and discarded my AMD option. AMD has quite a fearsome repertoire of CPU's at present and up to seeing this competitive Intel offering I was tempted by them. Since building my new system this has chomped through everything I have thrown at it. It's been so good that I haven't even thought of the overclocking potential this chip has. My son has asked for me to build him a system and it looks like this chip will be going in his system too. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Worth noting that K series CPU's from intel do not come with a cooler. I can recommend the product but I cannot recommend you purchase from scan. Issues with the order and over a month and no response. Order at your own risk.
