This dual-bay 5.25" enclosure converts two stacked bays into a fully featured 3-drive hot-swap platform—ideal for NAS, server, or high-availability storage builds. It supports both 2.5" and 3.5" SAS/SATA drives at up to 12Gb/s, giving you enterprise-grade flexibility with consumer-friendly convenience. Each drive gets its own tray, front-facing access, and onboard status LEDs, while the integrated backplane keeps cabling simple. Despite packing serious functionality, it still fits neatly into standard chassis layouts, making it a strong upgrade path for both workstation and home lab users.
Reliable Cooling, Durable Construction
Thermals and reliability are covered with a detachable 80mm PWM rear fan spinning at 4500rpm, backed by smart alert indicators for temperature spikes and fan failure. A dedicated alarm mute button gives quick control during maintenance. Operating comfortably between 0°C and 50°C and tolerant of high humidity, it’s built for continuous uptime. With a solid 1.7kg construction, front-panel monitoring and support for SGPIO, this is a storage expansion bay built with practical management and long-term stability at its core.
