At the core of the Edition XV is HiFiMAN’s second-generation nanometer-thick diaphragm, now just 60% the thickness of the original. This ultra-lightweight membrane further enhances transient response, allowing the driver to reproduce even finer details with even more precision. The reduced mass allows for faster, more accurate movement, translating into improved dynamics, clarity, and immersion. HiFiMAN have refined the Edition XV’s comfort and fit with a newly designed composite headband, now 20–30g lighter and equipped with rotatable hinges for effortless adjustment and extended listening comfort. Choose from 9 different backround colours, FFT, VU or playback info display can also be switched with ease. The pressable knob supports customizable functions, allowing access to any output mode. Switch usage preferences in the settings as you wish. Bilingual switching between Chinese and English is also supported.
10-Band High-Precision PEQ Adjustment
fine-tuned frequenciesA brand new PEQ adjustmen supports ten customizable frequency band. This new PEW algorithm and desktop software allows you to fine-tune the frequency, gain and bandwith of each PEQ band. The software supports the import of target curves and raw curves and enables the curve compensation using the target curve. It can also save multiple profiles for easy switching. All outputs support independent PEQ configuration, and both headphones and speakers can be accurately adjusted as you wish.

LDAC wireless availableEquipped with a QCC5125 chip, the DX5 II supports Bluetooth 5.1 and can support up to 96kHz/24bit. It also fully supports LDAC/aptX-Adaptive/aptX/aptX HD/AAC/SBC and other audio encodings, allowing high-quality audio to be transmitted wirelessly to provide a musical experience beyond CD level.
Plug and playDX5 II features a wide range of compatibility and applies to various operatng systems such as Windows 10, Windows 11, MAC, Linux and iOS/Android. The USB hardware is based on third generation XMOS XU316 and Thesycon driver which is both stable and reliable. In addition, the USB input supports up to PCM768kHz/32bit and DSD512, which makes every detail vivid.
Self-developed IV CircuitryTopping's self-developed I/V conversion module is dedicated to achieving superior audio reproduction. The exceptional circuit design delivers lower distortion and noise while occupying less space. Pushing the boundaries of physical limits, this design extracts the maximum performance from the DAC chip.
Connect DirectlyDX5 II also features a "preamp" mode. In preamp mode, you can adjust the output volume of DX5 II, then connect it directly to a pure amplifier or active speaker without the need for a separate preamplifier. Both input and output interfaces of the DX5 II come with a volume memory functionality, enabling the device to automatically restore the last set volume when switching outputs - allowing a for a quick return to your familiar listening environment.
