GIGABYTE have embedded a very impressive cooling system around the GTX 1080. It features 3 pure copper composite heat-pipes, special fin architecture, unique blade fan design, which together deliver an effective heat dissipation capacity for higher performance at lower temperatures.
1080 LED Fan Indicator From GIGABYTE
When your GIGABYTE graphics gaming card isn’t under any serious load and its temperature is cool the G1 GAMING 1080 will shut off the fans to save on power. On top of the 1080 GPU there is an LED that will light up when the fan stops - the LED reads ‘FAN STOP’. The semi-passive fans will remain off when the GPU is under a set loading or temperature for low power gaming . The LED fan indicator on the top of the hrapjoc card provides an instant display of the fan staus.
