Game Max Silent Mid Tower ATX/MicroATX/MiniITX Computer Chassis with Sound Proofing, Fan Control, USB3, SD/MicroSD Slot is rated

Great value case and virtually silent! It's exactly as advertised, a solid computer chassis with good sound proofing and plenty of useful features. There are no windows, unless you could the optional mesh filter for the top, so it may not fit well with the current RGB trend.
Not the most jaw dropping case to look at, but:
- it's easy to work with (3 builds, 1 personal and 2 for work)
- plenty of room for GPUs
- 1 build included a AIO which was easy to install
- decent air flow, on hotter days you may have to turn the fans up to max
- space for multiple 2.5" & 3.5" drives
- good cable management
- mounting points for 4 additional fans
For a mid priced case with a built in fan controller, 4 x USB and SD card reader built in, I've not been disappointed with my purchase.

Fantastic Case, Great designWhen I see small brands like Game Max or CiT I feel like it can be a hit or miss depending on their products, after buying a total of 8 of these cases (For a client using them as customer service desktops) The feedback from that client has been fantastic and it was so easy to build in, not to mention it's sleek looks!
I 100% Recommend this case

Nice Case, Horrific ThermalsI bought this case a few months back due to having a Zalman Z11 that was falling apart. This seemed perfect as it was cheap, silent, and "Good Airflow". This case is really good for the price as it has lots of features, such as the 2.5/3.5 inch bays being out of sight and hidden under a shroud along with the power supply, It has amazing cable management and overall is quite sturdy. The sound proofing foam is nice along with the option to have a soundproofed roof or an open roof with a magnetic dust filter, although the dust filter is awful and bends at the corners and the magnets peel off almost instantly. Now, onto the thermals. I understand this is a silent case and obviously thermals might take a hit, but coming from a dusted up case with 0 cable management and less direct airflow you'd think you might get around the same temps. Well you wont. Infact my CPU (i5 4670k) went from running around 55-60c full load at 4.3GHz to running 70-75c full load. My GPU, the MSI Twin Frozr IV GTX 770, now thermal throttles as having previously only hit around 72c max, now hits 80c and exceeds the thermal limit i have set and hits 81c because its struggling that much to keep cool. I have 2 Corsair AF 140mm in the front and a 120mm in the back also which no matter the fan speed seem to have almost 2-3c difference to CPU and 1c GPU. There is obviously something wrong here. Not even taking off the top makes a difference, infact it makes my GPU run hotter and only cools my CPU by like 2c. If thermals don't bother you then I guess your ok but as for someone who would prefer their components not to melt I advise to save your money and get a better quality case with better airflow.

Very Decent Case For The CostIn short, it's a solid case, but surprisingly not as heavy as you'd expect, and does a decent job of isolating noise from the internal components whilst providing a decent cooling environment.
The case is easy to work with and whilst it's definitely not a luxurious case, it feels as though as you're getting a £60+ case at a lower price.
I did have a small issue with one of the case sides, where somehow the noise-absorbing padding had pulled off the flat surface and had to be rolled back down, which is why I've knocked down the quality and overall rating to 4/5.
Before getting, take into account that the PSU goes at the bottom and some PSUs have shorter cables, especially the 4-pin ATX motherboard connector. If you don't have decent length cables, consider buying some cheap cable extensions first.
I bought this as a new case for my sister and she's been very happy with it. Whilst it's not up to standard of my own case (a Nanoxia Deep Silence One), my own case was about twice the price, so this case is very good value for money.

Great value caseHaving used the case for a couple of weeks I really got to like it.
My favorite feature is the good airflow due to vertical 2.5" hdd /ssd mounts.
The sound proofing works great but best to replace the supplied fan with something better.
The built in fan controllers let you connect up to 5 fans (3 and 2 per switch). The switches operate in low / 0 / high rev mode. i don't know what the voltage equivalent is but the low setting was not enough to move my Noctua NF-S12A.
I am happy to answer any questions about this case

Great value for that priceThese are just my first impressions as I only received the case and have not attempted to build the system yet.
I chose this one because I was looking to build a silent system and it was cheaper than the likes of Antec P100.
The case looks really good, the frame is made of good quality metal and plastics are solid. The door which opens only to about 95° is padded and quite heavy, holds well when closed and it will self shut if left open. The USB ports are easily accessible if you put the case on the floor. Might be less so if it sits on the desk. SD and micro SD card readers are a nice touch. The cards will stick out though as they go in only about a third. The front cover has a dust filter (not mentioned in the product description) and is easily removed. There are two fan speed controllers with three positions each but you have to open the door to access these. There is fan cabling inside the case but I have not worked it out yet and there was no manual supplied. Manufacturers website did not help and is quite strange itself.
Side panels are padded and heavy which should be good for sound insulation. Thumbscrews are a bit flimsy and feel cheap. No problems taking those off and getting good access to the case.
Inside the case is where it really makes me happy. There are no drives cages at the front like in other cases. This should really make a difference for airflow and fitting in long cards. There is space for two 2.5" drives mounted vertically and two optical drives. There is a third 2.5" bay at the back of the motherboard plate. There is space for two 120 or 140mm fans in the front intake. Or you could put a 240mm radiator in.
There are vents at the top for another two 120/140mm fans or a water-cooling radiator. Two padded plastic plates are provided to cover the vents if not in use. A magnetic mesh is also supplied if you want to use top vent as intake. The covers look good and flat but the dust filter is just a mesh with magnetic stripes stuck to it and may be easily damaged. Also it does not fit into place easily. It is not the best part of this system but for that price it is ok.
A 120mm exhaust fan is installed at the back. I have no idea how noisy it is and I will be replacing it with a Noctua one.
The PSU and two 3.5" / 2.5" cases are hidden and accessible form the back. This should make things look more tidy. There is an intake with a dust filter at the bottom as well. There are cable management holes but no rubber pads in them. Should not be an issue unless for aesthetics.
Some screws and other bits and pieces are supplied.
I am very happy with this product especially at this price. It may not be the high end branded product but it gives a lot of possibilities with regards to cooling and multi GPU.
It may not be the best choice for someone who wants to put in loads of 3.5" drives and run them in RAID5 or 10 but you could definitely do that with 2.5" ones.
There is also no manual supplied which should not be a problem for most people but still would be nice.
I would highly recommend it as a budget case for silent gaming PCs.
PS. I wanted to order the case together with some Noctua fans but scan wanted to charge me an extra delivery fee for that. I do not understand why this is because the order arrived in a box big enough to put in 10 more fans. In the end I only got one Noctua fan and they lost out on my business.
