EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0 8GB GDDR5X VR Ready Graphics Card, 2560 Core, 1721MHz, 1860MHz, +£40 CASHBACK is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Such a beast of a GPU I upgraded from a MSI Gaming 970 and the performance increase is phenomenal (as expected). Without even overclocking the card, it reached a steady boost of 1970MHz, and a max temperature of 43c @1080p 60fps. 59c at 1440p 60fps and 69c in 4k at 60fps. Meanwhile fans are nice and quiet. Build quality is really good, its strong, no sag whatsoever and the RGB led's are nice and vibrant. Packaging is nice and satisfying to open. Also you get a free poster and 'powered by EVGA' badge so...no brainer :p

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Issues are blown way out of proportion I've had this card since June 2016 and I have had absolutely no problems with it what so ever. These cards supposedly had an issue with the VRMs overheating, however no cards actually broke because of this issue. In October, I installed the optional thermal pad mod to the card, which was quick and easy. All of these cards now come with these thermal pads pre-applied, so you have nothing to worry about if you are buying one now. The card itself runs exceptionally quiet, and will peak around 71C whilst gaming. If you are on the fence about buying one of these, just buy it, you won't regret it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great card but maybe not for you. its a great card with good performance and amazing looks.Unfortunately I had a problem with it where while gaming the screen turned black and the gpu fans started spinning at maximum, and only a hard reset could help the problem.I looked it up on lots of different forums and many people have this problem with this particular card and everyone said the only solution is RMA.I really liked this card and I would recommend it but take this into consideration before buying it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from you pay for what you get! pricey but in the six weeks of owning this card they are no easier to get hold of and a little more expensive. Patience was never a virtue I have possessed. Straight swap for a temporary 970 FTW in a Z170 i7 build and I must have got lucky in the silicon lottery as stock it runs just shy of 2000 MHZ. precision Xoc runs fine aside from the led program, a mild overclock hardly touches the temps or draw from the PS. Fans hardly run and when they do they are whisper quiet, runs two 1440p monitors, the main one having v-sync and with minimum of tinkering runs every game I play over 120fps. Very impressed with the card and as always with Scan's service, highly recomended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent performer If you are considering buying this card, then you probably know what you want and are willing to pay for it. This card delivers on all aspects. I went for an all-new X99 build, and was previously running an old GTX 680. The difference is astounding. I run a mixed triplehead setup of a 144hz 1920x1080, 60hz 3840x2160 and a third 60hz 1920x1200. I am now able to run all games I have tried at native refresh rates for either of the former two monitors, all at near-maximum settings. This is exactly what I wanted and I was more than happy to pay for it. The onboard RGB lighting is nice, but the software to control it is immature and rather terrible right now, as another reviewer has noted. The zero-rpm fan setting triggers below 60°C, so if your case has less-than-great cooling, or you have a warm room, expect the fans to be on minimum and the card hovering at 60°C. However, the cooler is very effective and I have not observed the card exceed 80°C under load. One thing to note is that many DP to DVI adapters do not support dual link, which is required for the 144hz refresh rate at 1080p. Thus, be careful if you have monitors with a lot of legacy inputs. Overall, a fantastic card that does not disappoint at all.
