Max Air Flow 105% More Air Pressure

Triple Wing-Blade GPU Cooling

DirectCU III features triple 0dB fans engineered with a patented wing-blade design that delivers maximum air flow and improved 105% static pressure over the heat sink, while operating at 3X quieter volumes than reference cards. The 0dB fans also let you enjoy games in complete silence and make DirectCU III the coolest and quietest graphics card in the market.

GPU Controlled Fan Headers

When you are gaming it is commonly found GPU temperatures are higher than that of the CPU, due to chassis fans usually referencing CPU temps only - resulting in inefficient cooling. The ROG STRIX 1080 graphics card features two 4-pin GPU controlled headers that can be connected to system fans fort argeted cooling on your GTX 1080 Ti.

ASUS 1080 Ti Aura RGB Lighting

Featuring Aura RGB Lighting on both the shroud and backplate, ROG STRIX graphics cards are capable of displaying millions of colors and six different effects for a personalized gaming system (as seen above).

A More Reliable GTX 1080 Ti

This 1080 Ti, like various other ASUS boards has had premium alloy components intergrated into their graphics card designs to reinforce the overall reliability. Super Alloy Power II components greatly enhance 1080 Ti efficiency, reduce power loss and achieve thermal levels that are approximately 50% cooler than previous designs.

Enjoy Immersive Virtual Reality Experience

ROG Strix graphics cards have two HDMI ports for connecting a VR device and three display at the same time, so you can enjoy immersive virtual reality experiences anytime without having to swap cables.

GeForce® GTX graphics cards provide a powerful next-generation platform for the ultimate immersive virtual reality experience. Rigs and cards marked with "GeForce GTX VR Ready" ensure that your VR games will be optimized with a best-in-class GPU.

Immersive VR requires seven times the graphics processing power of traditional 3D apps and games. NVIDIA's unique set of features - such as multi-res shading - mean you get the right level of performance, image quality, and latency to ensure your VR experience is nothing short of amazing.

ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti ROG STRIX OC 11GB GDDR5X VR Ready Graphics Card, 3584 Core, 1569MHz GPU, 1683MHz Boost is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epic card from AsUs As-Usual ! Nothing much to say but Holy Moly.. Apart from the price (As Usual). The card is a beast. This is the reason why I prefer board partner cards compared to the Reference cards now known as "Founders Edition". Yes it cost more than the FE cards but the bottom line is that Board Partner Cards are better in every way specially on the Noise, and cooling department. And fixing the noise from the cooling and the heat from the card being produce allows the card to perform at higher performance but "Still" remain silent in operation and cool in the temperature side of things. Bottom line short here are my Pro's and Con's. Pro's +Higher Boost clock (Mine autoboost at 1987 MHz out of the box, And yes it was advertised at 1683?... Yes mine is at 1987 MHz) =) +Good Silent cooling that wont start unless you a certain temperature mark +Good efficient cooling that keeps the card under 70 even at heavy loads +Sexy looking card +Good subtle RGB with simple UI for the program use to change its behaviour (I prefer subtleness over the over the top RGB madness going on) +Heavy card but mine does not show signs of Sagging unlike certain cards before from other vendors that were not as heavy but shown a huge sagging competition. +It is expensive but you do get what you pay for, its a high quality card but ye still expensive :D +No coil whine on mine Con's -well Price is there.. but it is definitely expensive I dont think that can be denied -this is nitpicking but the fan wires are in rainbow colors maybe blacken it? -its a long card so fitting it on some cases might be a problem unless if you got a full tower case that has removable HDD bay cage -with this card SLi can be an issue if your mother board PCiE interface are not far enough from each other (mainly the 2 slots for SLi) as this card requires 2.5 slots. But I am always a believer of only using one strong card vs doing SLi. Specially that most games dont support multiple cards. Still SLi looks cool and epic (I tried it before), but personally 1 strong card is a better choice. Hence I have chosen this card to replace my current one. Overall a very nice 1080 Ti offering from ASUS. And was happy to see that mine boost to 1987 MHz, even though it was advertised at 1683MHz. One thing to note is that this card is best for 1440P 120+ hz Monitors or 4K. Anything lower, its just not worth it and you're better off buying a cheaper card to power something like a 1080p. mine is running a 1440p 165Hz monitor and I gotta say, this card is a beast! Its pricey, really pricey. But I would still recommend it if someone is looking to build their beast PC. Also Scan never fails, Every e-tailer or retailer should perform like Scan. Really good service from them to me, so far! Keep it up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant card I love this card, it is quite, looks amazing and is a very powerful bit of kit. It comes with loads of good features that some others don't, like fan headers on the card, so you can run external fans off of the GPU temp and a RGB header. If used with Asus GPU Tweak 2 free software you can one click and get an easy overclock for even more power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made beauty I love this card in every way except the coil whine. But this is only noticeable when the fans are off at lower temperatures. When she gets going she's a power house of awesomeness. And the quietest air cooled GTX 1080ti on the market. Love it. Money well spent in my opinion. Goes perfectly with my ROG motherboard. The RGB is great fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstandingly powerful GPU - but it is top dollar so you are paying for that. Scan have as always been very helpful great customer service and fulfilled my preorder as scheduled. The GPU itself is as you'd expect at this price point insanely powerful, and being asus is well made. Value wise its outstanding if you look at it as TitanX Pascal performance to 2/3rds of the price. However if you look at it as ~20% better than 1080 performance for 160% of a 1080's price its not so good value. Beware though it does generate a lot of heat, the fans and heatsink on the card get rid of it well enough, but that only puts the heat into the air of your case, so make sure you have sufficient ventilation in your case for it. Personally, I had to upgrade my front and top fan to keep the system temperatures in check and give the gpu's fans cool air to work with. On benchmarks it seems to throttledown due to powerlimit, not thermal limit, at 102% power despite having powerlimit set to 110% in software, so I am not getting the utmost this card is capable out of it yet. However when gaming I never notice any dropped frames or such like, and I'm playing in either VR on my CV1 or on my 4k screen at maxed out settings so I'm really asking a lot of this card and it is delivering. In day to day desktop operation the card is silent, under load such as high res gaming its far from the loudest of fans but also not silent, emitting a midtone fan noise no louder than my case fans or cpu fans (bitfenix spectre pro's). While I recommned this product to anyone comitted to complete air cooling, being completely honest with you this card is likely to push me into watercooling my system in the future as such were I buying a new card I'd be looking for a factory watercooled version of the 1080ti. That being said I quickly looked into it and there are high quality waterblocks for this specific card available from EK waterblocks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great card Very good card bit overprice compare to a normal 1080 but over all worth the extra

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade Upgraded from the previous 980ti, and performance has basically doubled. I always wait for the ti edition cards as they always seem to be the best of the edition. All in all good solid performance increase. These cards are expensive, that is the only draw back and it take me a few times considering whether to upgrade, or stick with what I have. But, the need for pure 4K gaming is real!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Air Cooled Awesomeness I was undecided whether to get an FE card and water-cool my rig or to go for a Gigabyte AORUS. As it turns out I bought an ASUS ROG STRIX OC card on the basis of it's management system for cooling. I am ridiculously pleased with it - it hasn't gone above 68c and maintains 60+ fps in DOOM at 4K - and that's not even flat out with the fans! Brilliant card!! Attached is my basic 1080p Unigine Heaven Benchmark score - no tweaks and straight out of its wrapper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An absolute beast! This card is a monster in every aspect - performance, size and price. Here are a few positive and negative points: + Extremely good gaming performance (best suited for 1440p@144hz or 4K@60hz) + Very good looking (black back plate, subtle RGB lighting, all black exterior) + Despite its size/weight, sag is minimal when using two bracket screws and a good motherboard. + Temperatures stay well below throttle limit (max 69C) + Very quiet (fans only need to spin at 50% to keep temps below 70C) + Coil whine is minimal (though some users have complained of this, the card I received is fine). - Price is very high (+£100 on top of the £699 FE cards) - 'Warranty Void' stickers are placed poorly - There are visible multicoloured wires at the end of the card (why not use all black wires Asus?) - 2.5 slot width reduces case compatibility - Lighting zones cannot be individually controlled (all or nothing) - Availability is currently very poor - Asus Customer Service doesn't meet the standard set by EVGA. Overall, this is one of, if not the best, non-FE partner 1080ti card you can get. Its power is phenomenal and despite a couple of little issues, its gorgeous. If you can afford it and have an appropriate monitor (1080p users should look elsewhere), then this is definitely a solid buy. 9/10.
