I've put it through the paces photo editing, compiling and gaming, and the CPU delivers on all fronts, all while using less power than my old Intel 5820k. The 65W TDP is nice - when the CPU is matched with a beefy air cooler, and some BIOS fan curve tweaks are applied, you can have a silent workstation. Great product from AMD, would reccomend.

Set up was very easy and although it ran, initially, with what I thought were high temps at idle, a few tweaks in the bios soon sorted everything out and idle temps are now consistently around 36C. Great value for this much oomph! Usual faultless dispatch from Scan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant piece of hardware. Finally made the decision to come over to the red team. I can truly say AMD are slowly taking over because this thing is such a beast, coming from an i7 4790k and though I thought the switch from a quad core wouldn't yield a ton of noticeable results, it was somehow immediately noticeable in both Windows and Linux. Everything is just immediately snappier, and even games far better using the same graphics card (a nice 10-15 fps cushion depending on the game). Where it truly shines is in CPU-heavy task, such as running Docker, or performing tasks such as photo processing and decompression and compression. Where I'd have tens or hundreds of minutes of wait time before my tasks would finish, this thing shreds those amounts to minimal amounts. If you planning on making the switch to the Red Team you will not be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Outstanding Performance - Stylish Cooler Gamer and professional App user (Photoshop,Cryengine,Ableton) Easy to install and the cooler is really smart and easy to change colours or modes if that is your thing. You can turn it off too. Handles everything I throw at it. Had numerous heavy load apps running and still runs like a dream. Temps were a little iffy to start, but coming from a i7 3770k and doing some research. Came to find the temps were fine and it monitors Heat differently to intel. (37-44C on idle at 1.1V) (55-65C on full stress at 1.36v) It did come at 1.4v and hit 70C. If like many others, thinking of jumping over. I've had no issues with anything, even found some apps like (Test drive unlimited2) that previously didn't work on a intel, now work. Running with 2x 16gb viper Patriot Memory (Tested Timings: 16-18-18-36) DDR4 3200MHz Aorus Elite x570 M2 970evo SSD All modern games ran fine with it barely using any power. Has a Eco mode which is smart, Recommend Ryzen Master for monitoring cpu. Well Packaged, Fast Delivery, Easy install, Plug and play.

Is this fully compatible with a Asus AMD ROG STRIX B350-F?

According to the QVL (qualified vendor list) for your motherboard, yes. Just make sure to update the BIOS once your PC is up and running to ensure full compatibility.
