Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well Fitted this to my Sons Pc this morning via the Akasa 3.5 to 5.25 adaptor bought at the same time. The card reader works well enough, and reasonably fast via USB3 19pin header but like all 3.5 internal card readers these days the CF slot is very shallow and care has to be the appropriate word when putting a CF card into the unit, my unit extends my CF cards out by only 12mm, but this one, like many has 26mm of the card showing, hence not enough of a guide to be totally confident with this slot and not damaging any of the teens of pins, the other slots seem to be up to the normal standard, so if you use SD or any of the others this unit will accept there will be no problems. Other than that the unit is well constructed and I hope it runs for many years, we spent the extra cash hoping that is the case as it is in use daily with a Professional Photographer who's cameras use CF cards exclusively. Please, please designers of internal card readers make your CF slots deeper - the CF cards are here to stay with professional cameras.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A proper USB3 card reader! Comes with only USB 3 interface so don't buy it if you've only got USB 2. Does exactly what it says it should. Works fine first time. No connection dropouts like some other USB 3 Card Readers (Orico) Ideal if you're an SLR user and want to copy files from your memory card which in my case sports 90MB/s transfers.
