Product Overview To meet the ever higher requirements imbued by professional users and enthusiasts alike, SilverStone created the Strider Gold series power supplies. The Strider Gold models are built on similar platform as the award-winning Strider Plus series but with even higher efficiency ratings.

The Strider Gold series will encompass wattage range from 550W to 1200W for a great variety of applications. With a 140mm depth for easy intgration, the ST65F-G is the world shortest modular ATX PSU. In addition to 80 PLUS Gold level efficiency, all models are built to meet very high standards in electrical performance so they have ±3% voltage regulation, ±3% ripple & noise, and high amperage single +12V rail. Other notable features also included are 24/7 40? continuous output capability, low-noise 120mm fan, and multiple sets of PCI-E cables. For users looking for a power supply with faultless combination of performance, efficiency, and quality, there is no need to look beyond the Strider Gold Series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small and stable PSU, shame about the cables. At slightly smaller than usual this PSU was a breeze to fit into my computer and I have no complaints over either quality or the features. The only thing that is worth bearing in mind is the cables. Silverstone have opted here for broad, flat cables that are somewhat stiff and difficult to route tidily in a confined case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from On the expensive side but a good PSU I bought this PSU to fit in a Bitfenix Prodigy case as it's a bit limited for PSU space. It's fully modular but it was still a tight fit as the modular connectors stick out the back a bit and the the thick cables are a little inflexible. I'm happy with this PSU, it's not audible, even when under high load. I've marked it down a star due to the power cable coming with a european plug rather than a UK one. That would have been very annoying if I hadn't of had another UK power cable to spare.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works, but the switch broke This power supply works and is modular. The problem is that power switch has snapped onto the "on" position. This is not a problem, as it still works, however it is rather annoying. This is the second silverstone I have had that had this issue. I would get it replaced, but that means taking it out of my small m-itx case, and I don't want to do that. So it is staying in there!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make sure the room fan is on! Compact is the word. I had to fit this in an XPS 8300, it was a tight fit, which probably added to the stress of it all, ergo I was sweating. Once in no complaints, as it is powering the graphics card upgrade the original power unit couldn't. Instructions very good, am I happy? Yes

Questions & Answers

Did anyone else get an EU power cable with this

Will it work ok in the UK if I just use a standard kettle lead
Asked by: doon86
I got a EU power cable with this PSU too. I just used another standard UK kettle lead that I had and it works fine.
