Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cuts out Product cuts out. Didn't want to get a replacement incase itsoes it again. With that being said it's better than my corsair VS550 will never be buying corsair again and this one would of been great had it not cut out lots while using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for simple wired PSU Used this to build a winxp replacement system, fully wired, but needed some sata to Molex converters to drive the older Disk drive bay I was using. It is pretty quiet and has no annoying "cool" blue leds. unlike some other PSU's

Rated 5 out of 5 by from replacement power supply, straight forward to fit and a lot quieter existing psu had gone noisy, got this from Scan as a replacement. Straight forward to fit, and with the larger cooling fan is much quieter. Good service from Scan.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from High pitched transformer whine when plug socket switched on louder than most No 6pin+2 only 6pin. High pitched whine when socket plug is switched on really quite loud for a PSU compared to cheap dell ones maybe I got a bad . Doesn't come with power cord but I suspect must don't. Good cables, 4pin motherboard could be an inch or two longer main motherboard socket is lightly braided. I will contact the company see if the whine is usual other than that good PSU.

Questions & Answers

will this be ok with ASRock Z97 anniversary MoBo

Z97 Anniversary MoBo G3258k cpu 64GB SSD 500 GB HDD 8Gb RAM ( corsair lp) GTX750Ti GPU
Asked by: nickf
I see no problems with this Psu providing sufficient power as you only have one Sata hard Drive, the SSD will consume minimal power. This is a fully wired PSU so there will be more cables than you will probably need to use. Keep them tie-wrapped out of the way to improve the airflow in your case. A modular PSU would potentially have less unused cables, but would be more expensive and would be overkill with the configuration you are suggesting
