Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and price Got this to put in an Ncase for a mini-itx build as a low power NAS/Server. Its a perfect fit for the Ncase without obstructing a graphics card. When powered up it is truly silent, no fan noise, no coil whine. There is a single 'tick' when first powered up - something to do with the internal switching components maybe ? Nothing to worry about though, it only happens once at startup. Build quality is really good, the cables are perfect to fit in a mini-itx case but you may struggle if fitting to a larger case. My only minor issue is that on the SATA power cable, which has four connectors, the first connector is only around 3-4 inches from the PSU connection. I had to get creative to use that first connector and mount my drives as close to it as possible. Overall, a great product and thoroughly recommended. The price is also very good given the quality of the unit. I replaced an SX500-LG and couldn't be happier :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Completely silent. This power supply is great for low-power machines, because the fan doesn't actually spin until a certain wattage is reached. So, with the appropriate hardware, you'll never hear this thing, literally. There is some false information on this page, however - it's NOT an ATX power supply. It's an SFX power supply. This means if you want to use it in a case with a space for standard ATX PSUs, you need a special bracket.
