Combining Intel Optane low-latency memory technology with high-density Intel QLC 3D NAND in a single M.2 2280 module, the Intel Optane H10 512GB with Solid State Storage provides a hybrid storage solution designed to accelerate frequently accessed data while retaining the capacity benefits of NAND flash storage. This configuration combines 32GB of Intel Optane Memory with 512GB of Intel QLC 3D NAND, delivering up to 2,300MB/s sequential read speeds and up to 1,300MB/s sequential write speeds over a PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe interface. Intel designed the H10 for PC, client, and tablet applications where fast access and high-capacity storage are required in a compact form factor.


Hybrid Optane and NAND Storage

The H10 combines two complementary storage technologies on a single M.2 module, pairing 32GB of low-latency Intel Optane Memory with 512GB of Intel QLC 3D NAND. The Optane portion is designed to accelerate frequently accessed data, while the QLC NAND provides the larger storage capacity, creating a hybrid solution that combines responsive access with substantial storage space.

Compatibility

The Intel Optane H10 uses a PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe interface and M.2 2280 form factor, but compatibility is more specific than a conventional NVMe SSD because the Optane Memory portion requires appropriate platform and BIOS support. Intel states that not all Optane-ready motherboards support the H10, so the system or motherboard manufacturer should be consulted to confirm compatibility before installation.
