Product Overview
SC300 is the Pure SSD (Solid State Drive) which adopts the latest SK hynix16nm NAND Flash Memory as main storage media. It has optimized power and performance features for today's Note PC, Ultra-book PC and Tablet PC. The SC300 M.2 product provides a capacity range from 128GB to 512GB, supports SATA3 6.0Gbps interface, and a small form factor of 22x80x2.23mm. SC300 can support up to 32 NAND Flash dies, and can perform up to 530MB/s during a Sequential Read. Battery life is a vital factor for a Mobile PC, so SC300 supports not only the two SATA power management standard features called HIPM (Host Initiate Power Management) and DIPM (Device Initiate Power Management) but also the newly proposed feature, Devslpmode. SC300 M.2 is designed such that consumes less than 3mW in Devslpmode, which uses the least amount power in the PC user environment. Since SC300 M.2 uses NAND Flash, performance can be degraded as the fragmentation occurs.
SC300 M.2 is designed to recover from NAND degradation by providing TRIM functions. For reliability, SC300 supports 1.2M Hour MTBF, and End to End Data Protection function against any soft errors.
