M.2 is designed with SATA-based connector pinouts, providing full compliance with the latest SATA Revision 3.2 interface specifications. AS2242 supports wear levelling, S.M.A.R.T. and NCQ command. For better I/O performance, the controller unit comes with a SDR cache buffer and data processing units to strengthen the IOPS (Input Output Per Second) of the device, proving to be the ideal companion for PC and laptop users.
