In computing terms, system buses are used to connect various components to the motherboard’s core logic and, often, to each other. Modern PCs run with a multitude of high-speed buses ranging from the interconnects between, say, the chipset and the CPU, graphics card, memory, and peripherals.

16GB (2x8GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Low Profile Jet Black PC3-12800 (1600), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 9-9-9-24, XMP, 1.5V is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from RAM bought to upgrade from 16gb to 32gb. This product was installed and worked perfectly within minutes. My system is quicker and I can load my DAW with many more tracks and no latency. My DAW works faster and without glitches, this allows more time for me to be creative and concentrate on playing and writing without latency issues and having to keep bouncing tracks to save memory. I would highly recommend a 3XS Audio System!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Problems, straight out of the box. I needed a well specced memory kit to fit a mitx mb under a Cryorig C1 cooler. Ended up with loads of headroom, these are real low profile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Robust memory This kit was a replacement for my existing 2x4Gb XMS3 modules. My system was originally created by SCAN. I was able to replace the memory modules without any problem. I initially contacted SCAN for advice on what memory to buy, based on my system and they suggested this, which corresponded with my own research. SCAN even rang me the day after I received the modules to make sure there had been no clash with the overclocking settings. No problems to date.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems good, passed Memtest 86+ fine TBH I only buy corsair unless there's a very good reason to try something else. I always burn in the memory for at least 10 passes which took a long time as I configured this system with 32GB. Passed fine, although watchout as Memtest 86+ now offers multicore testing, but its experimental so it didn't work on my system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what is says on the tin These memory chips are compact and fast and worked straight out of the box.

Questions & Answers

Upgrading my Scan OC'ed sandybridge i7 - affect overclock?

Hi, I have a Scan PC with an i7 Sandybridge which Scan overclocked origibnallt to 4.5Ghz. I'd like to replace the original 2 x 4Gb modules (they are CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9). If I replace them with these DIMMs will my overclock be ok still? Many thanks for any thoughts. Cheers Steve
