Headsets have come a long way since the last few years, in terms of sound quality improvement, comfort level, customization, weight values, surround sound, and connectivity. With this last one, wireless headsets have most of the time been really pricey and to be honest most of them didn’t really offer as good quality sound as other wired and cheaper headsets. Things have changed though, and today you can find incredible wireless headsets at a very reasonable price (of course still more expensive than wired ones) but believe me, the freedom you get with wireless is very much worth it! If you’re the kind of gamer I am, you probably like to play in the dark, or with the less light possible in your room. We all know it’s bad for our eyes and such, but to help a bit with that problem and make our gaming space have a better visual without loosing our “darkness”, I can only suggest trying some LED cathode strips. Some are weaker in wattage, others are higher, they can be either connected by USB or by normal electrical plug and you can position and adjust their size as much as you want. Put them in the back of your keyboard, behind your monitor, on top of your computer case, etc. You have them in a few colors so you can match them to your gaming space color scheme.

Glasses have better quality, they don’t make your head hurt, it has light boost technology that makes your experience more pleasant and vivid, and the 3D quality is actually a lot better. Most of the recent games support this technology so if you have a 3D capable monitor and if you like 3D, things are a lot better now, give it a try!

Usually this is something people often forget about, but when you have a speaker system and a headset connected at the same time in your computer, you can’t have them on at the same time, or if you want to regularly switch between them there’s no way to do it without one of these. They are very cheap and they work flawlessly. Basically they split the audio jack entrance into two (or three if you need), so you can connect both your speakers and headset to your sound card.
