Verne Global Sustainable Datacentres

100% renewable powered GPU-accelerated hosting solutions

About Verne Global

Verne Global first opened its campus doors in 2012 and quickly established what has become Iceland’s thriving datacentre industry. In 2021, Verne Global was acquired by Triple Point’s Digital 9 Infrastructure plc. (D9). D9 is a UK-listed investment fund focused on decarbonising digital infrastructure. Taking its name from the UN Sustainable Development Goal 9, to “build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialisation and foster innovation”, D9 is enabling resilient digital infrastructure that is crucial to driving our interconnected world.

Today, Verne Global offers a wide array of services and a well-established partner ecosystem that has become the go-to destination for organisations that are as serious about their high intensity compute as they are their carbon footprint. Thanks to the unique geology of Iceland, Verne Global’s facility is 100% powered by renewable energy. Harnessing the powers of hydroelectric and geothermal energy, it is able to power high intensity compute like nowhere else on Earth.

Why Verne Global and Scan AI?
