Call of Duty: Vanguard Warzone Season 3 PC
Who was this built for?
This bespoke PC was commissioned by Activision and Papa John’s to celebrate the release of Season 3 of Call of Duty: Vanguard Warzone that adds in a new Pacific map plus an all-new epic threat.
The Concept
Our design team planned a one-of-a-kind diorama based on the Pacific island Caldera that the game is set on, featuring the iconic monsters Godzilla and King Kong in an epic battle on the waterline. The key objective our design team wanted to achieve was that the game’s theme was centre stage, not the PC.
To this end, the PC is discretely integrated into the diorama, with the components hidden away and only hinted at, such as the power supply inside the Papa Johns pizza takeaway and the CPU waterblock between the two large warehouses. Speaking of which, the whole diorama is put to use, with the GPU mounted vertically inside the left warehouse, a radiator in the right warehouse and the reservoir cunningly disguised as a water tower. It’s not a massive diorama even, you can watch the flow of water along the beach as it passes through the custom-made distribution plate that forms the ocean that Godzilla is stepping out of to fight King Kong.
