Product Overview

Frio Silent Series

Thermaltake new Frio Silent Series - Frio Silent 14, another CPU cooler with non-interference cooling design for the use of high performance RAM and motherboards, 140mm fan silently enhance air flow to aid in performance. Fully compatible with RAM of all kinds, ideally for power users to fill their RAM slots with high-end overclocked RAM.

Non-Interderence Cooling Design

Frio Slient 14 solves the co-existing problem on high performance RAM and CPU coolers, it achieves the best RAM clearance allowing user easily install high-end overclock RAM with coolers.

Performance Optimised Design

Optimised 0.4mm aluminium fins are designed not only for distinctive looks but also for rapid heat dissipation. Tower side flow design optimises the cooling performance.

Heat Conductivity

3 x 8mm solid cooper heat-pipes dissipate heat effectively allowing maximum heat conductivity. Heat-pipes are in Direct Contact with the CPU to ensure fast and efficient heat dissipation.

PWM and LNC in One

A 140mm PWM fan is fitted to enhance air flow to produce impressive cooling performance up to 1200RPM. LNC (Low Noise Cable) can reduce 38% noise level from 19.3 dBA to 12 dBA.

Universal Socket Compatibility

Support all latest Intel and AMD platform, including LGA 1200, 1150.

Features
• Non-Interference Cooling design.
• 140mm fan enhance air pressure with low noise level.
• 3 x Ø8 mm U-shape copper heat pipes support up to 165W.

Intel’s been on a mission of late. That mission revolves around grouping and standardising key technologies under various banners that are designed to ensure hardware compatibility and consumer ease of use. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.
