Fortuna Get the most out of your Resources

In this article I'm going to provide the information needed so you know how to get the most out of your resources on the game Fortuna. I’ll be going in-depth explaining all calculations that will help you get the most!

So let's start.

Fortuna Bonuses

100% Food Farm

Fortuna Farm

To begin we are going to have a farm full of Food and the divide the food into each resource through the Storehouse.

Since most people are busy throughout the day the most popular farm to use are those that take 10 hour or 24 hour to collect.

Firstly, the basic farm output for the 10 hour Food (Mill Lv3) is 2000 and the basic farm output for the 24 hour Food (Mill Lv4) is 4800. We are going to use the Mill Lv3 output to be our prime number used to work everything out.

Note: The calculations will be the same if you cover your farm completely with the same resource as long as you have all the bonuses covered.

Technology Bonus

As said above, every Technology Bonus gains an every 20% to our food output, our basic food output. So if we had level 7 Cultivation (Food) this will gives us 140% extra food which allows us to find 140% of 2000 which is 2800. We’re then going to add this all up together, but not now! So let's remember it for later and go on to the Building bonus.

Building Bonus

The Building Bonus will be different for anyone but with Cultivation at Level 7 then you should have about a Level 18 or 19 Protestant Church and possibly a second Economic Centre. Since a Protestant Church gives 5% per level a Level 19 Protestant Church will give us a total of 95% extra Food output. We then find 95% of 2000 which is 1900 to add to our total food output at the end.

Fortuna Food Area

Lord, Alliance and Food Area Bonus

Speeding things along, the Lord Bonus is just the Political Points we have added in the Lord Tab. So, For example, if we had 50 points in Political that automatically gives us 50% extra food. So 50% of our basic output, 2000 is 1000.
As for the Alliance bonus, you will only get a bonus as long as you are in an alliance and the leader has upgraded the food technology in there. If they have then if we have Level 4 Cultivation in the alliance and we get 5% extra Food per level this totals us to 20% bonus food. Once again, we find 20% of 2000 which is 400.

Lastly, the Food area bonus, this is different for everybody, where you are at a food area bonus and whether it is either 100%, 200% or 300% bonus. If it was 300% we find 300% of 2000 which is 6000. Now to add everything up!

The Result and Exchange!

Adding everything together from the above we have 2,000 + 2,800 = 4,800. Including the Building bonus which is 1,900 to make a total of 6,700 and then to add the last remaining bonuses. 6,700 + the Lord bonus (1,000) makes 7,700; with the Alliance Bonus (400) makes 8,100 and then the remaining bonus, the 300% Food area bonus, which is 6,000 to make a grand total of 14,100! Since we don’t own only one Farm plot we need to duplicate 14,100 by how many farm plots we own. So if we had 24 farm plots we would need to multiply 14,100 by 24 which makes 338,400.

Now to exchange, this is where people to start to doubt since every 1,000 of a certain resource required you consume 1,500 of what you are using to exchange. So if you want to purchase 50,000 Iron, Timber and Stone you would need to use 75,000 food each. 75,000 multiplied by 3 is 225,000 allowing you to have more resources that you would sharing your farms between each resource as well as having 100,000 food left over for extra exchanged needed.

Shared Farms

Take note now that the 24 farm plots we have will be divided to fit all 4 resources equalling 6 farm plots for each resource.

Iron, Stone and Timber

Since Iron, Stone and Timber are not affected by the Food Area Bonus the outcome will be less. The only thing that will be different is we are now subtracting the food bonus from the total food we had from the full Food farms above. So instead of 14,100 it is now 8,100. Multiplying this total by 6 makes a total of 8,106 per 6 farms every 10 hours.

Food

Since Food is affected by the 300% it will be exactly the same as the full Food Farms but the total will be different! Instead of multiplying out total by 24 we are now multiplying it by only 6! This means our calculation is now 14,100 multiplied by 6 giving us a total of 84,600 every 10 hours!

Conclusion

Due to the effects of the Food area Bonus this makes it more than worthy to have a full farm of one resource at the bonus Food area rather than having shared farms instead.

If you are not in a food are zone then it is best to go shared farms since going full farm of one resource you will then lose resources.
