Our GM670 workstation was born out of a requirement for a versatile media creation system for Guitar virtuoso Jon Gomm. We required a system which was powerful, yet silent during the recording process within a space occupied by sensitive microphones and in a studio space designed not to add noise or cause any colouration of the sound whilst recording. Our solution features a high-performance yet relatively low powered AMD 7900 CPU and Noctua passive cooler, built within a stylish Fractal Design North case with its open plan airflow allowing for a setup capable of running with just a single low speed fan at just 13dB/a. During your recording sessions this system will be perfectly silent, but should you need to also work on video content it also allows for the addition of your choice of graphics card with hybrid cooling design which will only engage the GPU fans under busier workloads found when video processing. Allowing for up to 96GB of fast DDR5 memory and offering up to 8 drives (4 x NVMe + 4 x SATA) of storage you can configure your ideal system around this powerful, yet silent recording solution.
