Excellent value & fast. Very compact. Fan inaudible on low speed setting.

A really great product (providing you know what you're doing).

I am intending to buy another one in a couple of months time.

A bit fiddly to put drives in, would have preferred screwless design.

If you want to use eSATA properly your eSATA port must support port multiplier functionality, otherwise you'll only be able to see 1 out of the 4 drives. Thankfully my eSATA PCIe card supported this and I was able to create a logical 8TB disk span through Windows.

If you want to span or RAID the HDD's through the OS then you must use eSATA (this is a limitation of Windows)

Note: This product doesn't support hardware level RAID. Also there's no manual in the box, the manufacturer seems to be German company.
