Got this for my new PC build, was initially drawn to the Corsair CX series but from searching around I found this to be a better alternative, very similar pricepoint (cheaper in some cases) and better build quality as a result of being SeaSonic made.
Cables were easy to install, the PSU was seemingly smaller than my old one though that certainly wasnt an issue, cables are well jacketed.
Some potential issues you may encounter however, I didn't mark the score down because of these since they will very much be a case by case basis.
First is the amounts of cables, compared to my old PSU (it was very old) this thing has a shocking amount of cables so keep in mind how much space you have, the cables easily take up more space than the PSU itself. Therefore keep in mind how much space you have in your case, in my case the PSU is bottom mounted but in older top-mounted cases you'll have a lot of cables dangling.
The other potential issue is a bit of a tradeoff, the jacketing on the cables is great for making sure they dont become a mess, unfortunately in my case (Carbide 300R) they presented issues with powering harddrives. Connecting a single drive was easy enough, however when i attempted to connect my old hard drives to transfer data I found that because of the jacketing the cables bulged out too much and prevented the case being sealed.
Overall a great PSU, a very solid choice for budget builds and I'm sure for mid-range builds too, high-end youre probably looking for a bigger PSU though.
P.S. Keep in mind this is the older version, while still supported this version isn't haswell compatible. It will work with a Haswell CPU, just go into your BIOS and disable C6/C7 states (these were in the overclocking section of my MSI BIOS), either as direct toggles or as a maximum level of C state.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LewisAN97 Great value and great quality
This is an excellent value PSU for the money. It has all the features you need and none you dont. Great quality and it also looks good too. The wires are a bit big and hard to hide, however, for the price, you can't complain. I haven't been able to test it (I'm strapped for cash) but would guess it to work flawlessly going by the quality. I would recommend this product in a heartbeat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SamTheMan Best power supply for the price
XFX make some quality kit. This power supply is remarkably quiet, and has not given me any issues with overheating, or not providing enough power. It's a lovely change from the usual temperamental cheap power supplies you get with cases.
A must buy if you are planning on any low/mid-range gaming build and don't want to have to deal with an inferior PSU burning out all your parts.

had this for a month and a half now, had no problems supplying my radeon 7770, fx 4130 and 21 inch monitor. it also survived a blackout mid-game with no noticeable side-effects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dottorrent Absolutely excellent power supply for the price
+ Great value for a 550W PSU
+ Made by Seasonic, so it'l last as much as time lasts
+ Loads of connectors
+ Sleeved wires, so your PC doesn't look like a multi-coloured mess inside
+ 80 Plus Bronze, so efficient and runs cool
- Slightly short CPU connectors in my opinion than other competition

Apparently a rebadged Sea Sonic design
Netted sheathing on the cables can get snagged on the case
