Customer Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4 out of 5 by good over all produt outstanding scan service. one seriously loud fan on a ridiculously under performing heat sink made me decide to watercool this product. on removing the heatsink I was disturbed to notice the thermal pads inadequately placed on the ram chips leaving much of each chip vacant of any thermal relief. perhaps this was why the fan seemed to kick in as soon as any game was started? I don't know. anyway, the board is pleasantly set out with no difficult nooks and crannies to put thermal pads or paste onto, so the water block was easy to set up; since I installed the water block I have not yet seen the card heat over 35 degrees Celsius. bench marks according to 3DMark are high putting the cards performance at above 70% of recorded high end gaming systems performance and it can handle battlefield 4 on a 50 inch plasma tv without any loss of fps. I would advise anybody buying this particular card brand gets a better cooling block. apart from the stock cooling , I am very pleased with performance but I would again suggest if you want to buy this card, changing the heatsink sooner rather than later would be my suggestion. and as always scan customer services were outstanding 10 out of 10 for scan. 02 January 2014
