I originally purchased a AMD R9 290X from a competitor, which I had black screen after black screen when playing anything.
After trying everything under the sun that the manufacturer told me to try and 3 cards later which was then confirmed as all faulty memory, I gave in and paid the extra for the above card.
Its quieter and faster than the 290X though it does cost more, but it was worth the extra, since I've had this card about 6 weeks or so, it hasn't crashed once.
My sanity and peace of mind was worth the extra cost

So a little bit of back story behind this review. I used to own a MSI 7870 GPU. Although a fantastic piece of kit it was no match for the newer games such as BF4 at max settings. So after E3 and seeing just how demanding the next generation of gaming titles coming this year and next year were going to be i thought it was time for an upgrade.
So i chose this. And boy does it chew through anything. BF4 max settings at 80 - 120 FPS average.
Rome total war 2 - 40 - 130 fps on extreme settings!
i have also tested a range of other games such as CIV 5, splinter cell blacklist, fifa 14,bf3,company of heroes, shogun 2.
Coupling this with a i7 4790k will give you a legendary system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RossM Best graphics card I have ever had
Performance is great, card is stable, not too noisy, well built and was definitely worth the upgrade over my GTX 770 ACX superclocked. I play at 2560x1440 with no problems with most games and have yet to have to drop down settings lower than 2x AA. I can definitely recomend this card, it's by far the best I have had. Only thing I can really complain about is installing drivers on linux distros which was near impossible for me but card works perfectly fine on windows so I assume it is just me being new to linux.

Oozes quality and feels like the premium card it is. Very expensive but handles 2560x1440p gaming with great frame rates.

well, what can i say? EVGA? need i say more?
well you get their support which is the best, you get the stepup programme which is the best And you get an EVGA card that works flawless.
The card overclocks well, it isnt as quiet and people say, but then im picky, it also doesnt run as cool as people say, but that is dependent on your environment and i have them in SLI which wasnt the smartest thing to do with blower cards.
but i have them overclocked 1400 7800 memory with no overvolting.
you really only have two choices, the asus or the evga DO NOT even think about the gigabyte i had 3 they all broke.
PS: only an idiot would put more than 2 stars into value when the item cost over £500

Rated 5 out of 5 by Daniel1987 Fastest card I've ever used
This card does it all, I'm playing all my games at 2560x1440 and it maxes every game out at 60fps. All graphic settings set to ultra with a constant 60fps. I really recommend this card for 2560x1440. If you're playing 1080p I would recommend the 770 or 780.
My specs below:
3770 @ 3.4GHz and turbo always on 3.84GHz
16GB Vengeance Pro 1600 MHz

Top end graphics card, runs very quiet and cool. Handles everything thrown at it.
Only issue is price, what's with the manufacturers these days?
Bring back the £150-£200 good old days!

What is there I can say that review sites haven't already? I bought this card based on several online reviews I read. I spent about a week reading up on the card as it's a massive outlay for anyone really. I can't fault the card at all; it's simple to install as you'd expect these days, and within 2 days there was a driver update which again is simple. All games I own absolutely fly along at ultra settings now. That being said, I could play at high settings on my 560ti so it's not a huge leap, but the card does allow all post processing, etc to be used with no impact at all so that is the impressive part of this card. It will easily allow maximum settings for the foreseeable future with the games being released. I'm currently using HD resolutions on a single 27" monitor for what it's worth, so I've got a lot more wiggle room for the future too.
For the record, the games I've tried with no issues at max settings are Far Cry 3, Crysis 3, BF4, COD Ghost, Batman Arkham Origins, Elder scrolls 5 - Skyrim and Max Payne 3.
Long story short, if you've got no bottlenecks in the form of CPU or RAM, then get this card as it'll make you happy!
