Customer Reviews

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for budget builds. This card was placed in my £300 budget PC build and paired with a good processor it can run any game currently on the market. I am mainly a Counterstrike player and this manages to run the not very demanding game at 300fps. Delivery was quick, card was packed correctly and the product is satisfactory. 12 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Value for Money card. This card is great for anyone who doesn't have the money to splash out on the 780 Ti. However this does offer a fair challenge when it comes to performance, this card is the one of the best value for money cards out there, it can run most if not all games at a good FPS. I would recommend this card with AMD FX 8320 or 8350 as those are also great value for money processors. 08 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic mid end card Very impressed with the performance off this card, running along side 8230fx not O/Ced on a ud5 mobo holding 60 -65 fps both in BF4 and Tomb Raider in ultra settings. Only complaint runs slightly hot unless you take manual control of fan setting but from 80+ % very loud. Also running large RPGMMO's on high settings such as AOC hits 63 - 70+ frps this is very smooth and looks absolutely stunning in full 1080p Will defiantly crossfire this card soon and enjoy on a budget for a few years to come :) P.S ATI virgin but i don't think I will be looking back 15 April 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Product for the outlay The 2GB XFX Radeon R9 270 is great value, it works perfectly, I bought the boost ersion which is slightly overclocked to 925 MHZ. Highly recommended. 21 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic card for the cost! Alongside the nVidia 560Ti, this is one of the most powerful cards per £ spent! It currently sits alongside my AMD Fx6300@4.5Ghz, and on one single 1080p monitor I consistently get 65-75 FPS in Battlefield 4 on high settings, and 55-60 on Ultra. Would highly reccomend either this or the 270X, which does have the 2nd 6 pin power cable to allow greater overclocking of the GPU. 04 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great card Great card! For very decent 1080p gaming performance, this is a very good value card. On Battlefield 4 (Which comes with the card) I got smooth frame rates on Ultra at 1080p. Ambient air of my case rose by about 7 degrees on average, which is pretty good seeing as I didn't have a graphics card before, but relied on my A8 5600K, which is still my CPU and works well with this GPU. Overall, this serves its purpose as well as I could hope for and I am very happy with it. 11 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Card I got this to replace my hd 7770 and i love it ! great cooling and overclocking i have it at 1050 MHZ gpu clock and 1500MHZ memory clock with +20 power, highest temps i got where 78 celcius can mine bitcoin at 390 Mhash/s gets over 50 fps in ALL games on medium to high settings 29 December 2013

Answer:
Yes there is, you gotta spend 15 minutes getting "redemption codes" and "promo codes" from the official XFX and then AMD websites, but my copy was 100% free, and now linked to my origin account so I can re-download it every time I reinstall my OS.

I would like to question the frame rate that both these games would run on on maximum graphics, if anyone could tell me that would be great.

Thanks!

Answer:
It really depends on the CPU. This card is capable of 70 FPS consistently in both games, but only if you have a good CPU. For example my card spits out 70FPS with my AMD FX6300 and this GPU.

Answer:
I do not have these games as such, but as none of these are particularly renowned for being intensive, I imagine very smooth frame rates on max graphics on standard 1080p. I personally enjoy battlefield 4 on ultra with lovely 50fps rates (on this card of course), so if these games fail to top that I will be surprised.
