I can now see details in my photographs that were never there before. The extra screen real estate is also good for working with spreadsheets. Very pleased with this monitor and this service I received from scan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by direwind its good, but could be better.
Firstly, you cannot overclock this monitor, if you want one you can, use the asus.
the monitor works flawlessly, but it does have its faults.
There is a very slight blacklight leak, and while gaming you can notice some ghosting, but it isnt bad at all.
The anti glare coating at utterly worthless the screen is also a dust-magnet.
But as price>performance>quality goes this cant be beat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SecretImbecile Great product, well priced
Not cheap, but the screen is definitely worth the price.
The screen is fantastic quality. The factory pre-calibration is something I was not aware of before purchase, but was a great value-add, especially against the value 2.5K Panels out there. (Calibration report is specifically for your panel, which is something I wouldn't expect on a sub £500 monitor)
It's not the fastest panel, and some ghosting is visible on high-contrast moving objects, but it's certainly not something you see when gaming. There may be better 2.5K panels for gaming specifically, but this seems to be the best jack of all trades.
Would recommend to anybody.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AndiM Does what it says it will
I bought this product just over a month ago and have been very pleased with it. So far the quality of the picture and product itself has been excellent.
My only negative comment was that it does not tell you anywhere that you cannot connect higher than 1080p resolution with a HDMI cable. Even the latest gen cable from an Xbox One that will support 4k res won't work. Apparently this is built in to the monitor so if you want to utilise higher res you need to use the dual link DVI cable supplied with the monitor. Just took me a while to work it out (thought it was broken). Other than that - Awesome.

Works great, but don't expect to get great video/game performance out of this if there are a lot of grey tones. Almost makes some scenes look like they've had a bevel & emboss effect applied when in motion.

I bought this with a bit asceticism, it seemed a little pricey. I didn't really know how bit of a jump from 1980x1080 to 2560x1440 really was.
I can safely say I do NOT regret my decision to buy this. It has totally changed how I look at games, They look just brilliant on this monitor, Ultra graphics on BF4 , explosions, gun fights and entire buildings crumbling down to the ground leave me jobsmacked everytime!

Rated 4 out of 5 by MrNBagelmore Great Monitor, unwanted lottery.
First off I'll start off with the good features about this monitor. The monitor is:
- Well built.
- Professional looking.
- The Image is very sharp at the 1440p resolution.
- Works fine even with a console connected, though the resolution is used will of course be 1080p, I cannot remember if I had black barring or not.
- Dell's QC with these monitors is bad, really bad.
- There is a lottery with what type you will receive, with that being how the panel is.
- I received mine with the 2 underlining problems with the QC, with these being Cross hatching and Backlight bleed, I sent mine back the day after I received it.
In all honesty I wouldn't let this put you off as I've reordered another direct through Dell and I will be seeing how this one is when I receive it, it's a great value from Scan and if you're on the lookout for a 1440p monitor then I highly suggest you pick this up.
