Rated 5 out of 5 by owenros Nice sized SSD and slightly better on IOPS than the Force
Just clone your old hard drive to this bad boy using something like Acronis and get a massive performance boost.
I Turned an old Celeron 1.5GB desktop pc with just 1.5 GB of ram loaded with W7 and unuseable to a very fast machine cloned from my Windows 8.1 desktop setup. Speed noticeably quicker than a new corei5 with 4GB Ram and no SSD.
Boots in 20 seconds - not bad for a Celeron
Any 64bit pc can benefit from this treatment but of course you have to activate and pay for the Windows software online (or buy from Scan)

I've been very happy with scans service and the product so far. It is considerably faster than my previous HDD and boots windows 8.1 from BIOS in under 4 seconds

I spent a while a while researching which SSD to buy, but this one was mentioned several times with good reviews. What finally sold it to me was the Migration software that lets you easily transfer data from your original OS drive (HD or SSD) to the new SSD. The transfer was simple and successful. I do not know if the Migration software can be used if the current OS drive is bigger than than the new SSD.
Before buying consider this - do you have a spare SATA port of the same type (my spare Marvell connector did not work) to attach both drives at the same time? I had a second SATA port and connected the new drive via a cable (Akasa SATA3) I bought at the same time. The alternative is to buy the upgrade package rather than the basic package that comes with a USB/SATA connector (plus an adaptor to attach this little drive into a HD bay). As it is a USB2 connector I imagine the transfer will take a lot, lot longer to finish.
The Magician software that also comes with the SSD allows you to configure the set up, optimise, apply firmware updates and activate the RAPID functionality for faster access times.
I recommend this product for its functionality and ease of transfer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TonyK Fast, simple to setup.
I bought this to replace a WD Raptor 150GB 10k rpm drive on my second PC. As fast as the Raptor was, SSDs are now cheap enough for a good capacity drive to warrant an upgrade.
The drive came with a utility to clone the existing drive and I did this using an external USB3/SATA connection. It cloned the existing drive in about 30 minutes. After that had finished, installing the drive to the PC was quick and easy and the system booted first time.
After booting, it's just a matter of installing a small drive management utility and you're ready to go.
Boot times are incredible (<15 secs to desktop) and file access, game loading and general PC usage are fast.
