Measuring just 6.3-inch x 8.10-inch x 8.8-inch (17 cm x 20.6 cm x 22.4 cm), the WD Sentinel DS6100 is able to fit on any shelf or desktop, or wherever space is at a premium.
Enterprise redundancy
WD Sentinel DS6100 offers enterprise redundancy, with RAID or Windows Storage Spaces, for up to four 3.5-inch datacenter hard drives. It also offers dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, a second power supply and and Dual Boot Drives (in auto RAID 1).
WD Sentinel DS6100 offers dual/redundant external DC-in power supply ports, so in the event of a power surge or other damage to the internal power supply, the second power supply takes over. This provides small businesses with the added peace of mind knowing that their server will remain operational.
