This LCD monitor adopts green power technology which uses only 2 lamps to save 28% power consumption and uses an advanced optical film to ensure brilliant image performance without sacrificing brightness.
The VH192D is an 18.5", 16:9 widescreen with HD resolution and an anti-reflection glare panel enables borderless full-screen video display and more vibrant colour performance. ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio (ASCR) Technology automatically adjusts the luminance of the backlight for better displays according to the image contents; this improves the contrast ratio to 10000:1 - resulting in more realistic depictions of night scenes during games or movies.
Aspect Control allows users to select a preferred display mode among Full and 4:3 for true-to-life Full HD 1080p gaming or movie watching without any data loss or image distortion. Splendid™ Video Intelligence technology adopts a colour engine to detect activation and usage of video applications and automatically optimises image quality with intelligent colour, brightness, contrast and sharpness corrections for the best visual results.

5 video modes designed for scenery, theatre, gaming, night view and standard images
3 skin tones of yellowish, natural and reddish to add a human touch to videos on PC. Users can see optimised images on screen and select five modes via hotkey.
