Product Overview Mini Vertical Converter Board for IDE Device to SATA MotherBoard

Attaches this Mini Dangle board to the back of all types of ATAPI, ATA/133, ATA/100, ATA/66, ATA/33, EIDE and IDE storage devices (such as Hard Disk, DVD, DVD-RAM, CD-ROM, CD-RW, MO, ….) and make them become new Serial ATA Devices and meet SATA standard.
This Bridge board can support HDD larger than 137GB.

Installation
Step 0. Make SURE your Computer is in a Power OFF State - Do NOT plug in this device if your system is powered up.
Step 1. Set the jumper of IDE device to MASTER MODE
Step 2. attach the Lycom ST-101L to the back of the IDE Device
Step 3. Connect Y-Type Power Cable to Lycom ST-101 J1 Pin and a Molex Power Connector from the PSU
Step 4. Connect SATA Cable to Lycom ST-101 SATA Port and Avilable SATA port on your SATA Controller Card/Motherboard
Step 5. If available Connect the 2 pin L.E.D indicator Cable from your CASE to the 2 Pin LED Header on the Lycom ST-101L
Step 6. Once ALL cables are plugged in then Power up your machine and enjoy your IDE device running on your SATA port

This device must not be attached to a IDE device that is allready powered on
Note recommend for IDE racks as this device is not hotswap compatable
If your DVD Drive is not working please Remove Jumper from pins J2 on the Lycom ST-101 Features * Can Attaches to any type of ATAPI, ATA/133, ATA/100, ATA/66, ATA/33, EIDE and IDE storage devices (DVD, DVD-RAM, MO, CD-ROM, CD-RW, Hard Disk, ….)
