Intel Core i7 Socket 2066 Kaby Lake-X Processors

These new high-end Core X CPUs are based on the Kaby Lake X architecture but are designed to fit into the new Socket 2066 and so require an Intel X299 motherboard. These quad-core CPUs support HyperThreading and are intended to provide a cost-effective starting point for the Intel Core X series, and thanks for their oversize heatspreader can run at higher frequencies than standard Kaby Lake CPUs.

As the LGA2066 socket has the same external dimensions as LGA2011-3 you can use any of these coolers with a LGA2066 CPU.
