Intel Pentium Socket 1150 Haswell Processors

Intel's Pentium processors are powered by the firm's latest Haswell architecture. They feature two cores but typically with a little more processing power than the Celeron chips, though they're still best suited to everyday computing tasks – for more intensive ones, you'll need to turn to the Core family. The on-board graphics can handle video playback but for serious gaming a discrete graphics card is a must. PLEASE NOTE : If you intend on using a Haswell Refresh chip on a 8 series motherboard, you will need a BIOS update for the chip to be compatible.
