Nylon: Flexible, Durable, Corrosion-Resistant
Nylon (polyamide) is a manufacturer’s favourite. With high strength-to-weight ratio, low-friction and flexibility, it’s ideal for 3D printing tools, functional prototypes and end-use products.

PLA: Fast, Safe and Reliable
Ultimaker PLA (polylactic acid) is reliable, offers fantastic surface quality, and it's made from organic, renewable sources. It serves a wide range of applications for both novice and advanced users.

PVA: Water Soluble Material
Ultimaker PVA is a water soluble support material ideal for printing complex models in PLA or Nylon that require supports for large overhangs, deep internal cavities, and intricate geometries.

ABS: Tough, Stable, Impact-Resistant
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) has excellent mechanical properties – ideal for functional prototypes and complex end-use products. It can withstand temperatures of up to 85 °C.

CPE: Chemical Resistant, Strong, Stable
CPE (co-polyester) is built for even tougher print jobs. Chemical and temperature resistant, with dimensional stability, it’s great for functional prototypes and mechanical parts.

CPE+: Tough and Heat-Resistant
CPE+ (co-polyester) is built for tougher print jobs that require high temperature resistance and good dimensional stability.

TPU 95A: Semi-Flexible and Resistant to Wear and Tear
With a Shore-A hardness of 95 and elongation of up to 580% at break, Ultimaker TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is semi-flexible, durable, and chemical-resistant.

PC: Heat-Resistant and Strong
PC (polycarbonate) offers a high temperature resistance, good mechanical strength and toughness, which makes it a great choice for molds, tools, and functional prototypes.

PP: Fatigue and Chemical-Resistant
