Product Overview

Specifically designed for AMD Ryzen Threadripper CPUs

TOUGHAIR TRX40 CPU Cooler features an extended copper base for 100% CPU coverage, which maximizes heat dissipation and provides ultimate cooling performance with up to 280W TDP.

Compatible with: AMD SP3, sTR4, sTRX4, sWRX8

Enhanced 140mm High Static Pressure Fan

TOUGHAIR TRX40 leverages the TOUGHFAN 14 design, which boosts the fan speed up to 2000 RPM. It ensures powerful cooling performance for any kind of Threadripper CPU.

Asymmetric Fin Structure

The fins of the TOUGHAIR CPU Coolers are designed with an asymmetric fin structure, which allows larger air intake through the fins. It lowers the air turbulence and straightens out the airflow in order to accomplish superb heat dispersion.

High-Performance U-shape Copper Heat Pipes and Extended Chopper Base

TOUGHAIR TRX40 features 4 x Ø6mm and 2 x Ø8mm heat pipes, which provides perfect heat circulation for better CPU cooling performance.

Combined with the extended copper base, TOUGHAIR TRX40 could help dissipate as much heat from the CPU as possible.

Non-interference Design

The overall design of the TOUGHAIR TRX40 is compact and powerful, and it wont interfere with your RAM on the TR40, TRX40 and WRX80 motherboards.

Intel Branding Part I
Intel Branding Part I
Date Issued: 1st Jul 2009

Intel’s been on a mission of late. That mission revolves around grouping and standardising key technologies under various banners that are designed to ensure hardware compatibility and consumer ease of use. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.
