Product Overview Thermaltake new Frio Silent Series—Frio Extreme Silent 14 Dual—is an ultimate over-clocking CPU cooler that supports up to 240W. Dual 140mm fans and U-shaped copper heat pipes provide the best heat dissipation. Tool-less fan module installation guaranteed on saving gamers’ time and effort. The all-in-one back-plate design offers universal Intel & AMD socket compatibility.

Ultimate Air-Cooling Solution
With dual fans and 6 x ?6mm solid-copper heat pipes, the Frio Extreme Silent 14 Dual accelerates heat transfer from the CPU onto the copper base for a faster dissipation. The best choice for enthusiasts.

Dual PWM Fans
Two 140mm PWM fans are fitted to produce high air flow in silence, with speeds up to 1200RPM. LNC (Low Noise Cable) can reduce the noise level by up to 38%, to 12.1dBA.

Dual Tower in Aluminum
Optimized dual tower 0.4mm aluminum fins are designed for both a distinctive look as well as performance. The tower-side flow design optimizes cooling performance by increasing the convection between hot and cold air.

Mirror-Finished Copper Base
The copper base makes a perfect contact with the CPU, ensuring fast and efficient heat dissipation. 6 x ?6mm solid copper heat pipes dissipate heat effectively, enabling maximum heat conductivity. The Extreme Silent 14 Dual supports up to 240W.

Universal Socket Compatibility
Supports all the latest Intel and AMD platforms, including Haswell LGA1150.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Better then My Custom Loop CPU - I7 4790K at 1.35v running 4.8ghz, on stress test, my custom water loop consisted of 2x 360mm 30mm 16fpi rads + 1x 140mm 50mm 35fpi rad, all running SP 120/140 rans, on a full stress test (1hour) the water would reach 54degres and the cpu would level out at 62degres, fan speed 540rpm i removed all my water cooling stuff, due to buliding a lan system, did not want water moving about, so i brought this cooler, no setting changed, this cooler runs the cpu at 65degres, with a fan speed of 600rpm, 20 September 2015
