INTUITIVE DUAL-CHAMBER DESIGN
Optimised for space management, the Core X71 is divided into two main chambers. The upper chamber is for cooling performance and better efficiency, and the lower chamber is for the PSU and the addition of case fans, radiators and the HDD cage. The removable 2.5"/3.5" drive device racks gives you plenty of flexibility to gain the maximum interior space needed for advanced cooling or for liquid cooling builds.
*When placing the PSU in the lower chamber, an 8-pin power extension cable may be required.
Utilise Remarkable Expansion
EXCEPTIONAL SPACE FOR COMPONENTS Designed for high-end gaming compatibility, the Core X71's modular drive racks allow you to easily install up to seven storage devices, a dual expansion slot VGA of up to 420mm in length, and a tower CPU cooler as high as 180mm. You can even install a high-wattage PSU up to 220mm in length and a 480mm on the front. With all this the Core X71 still offers plenty of space for cable management.
Build a System that's Unique to You
FULLY MODULAR STORAGE SPACE A "2 + 5" drive bay design for storage devices makes setting up the latest storage solutions super easy and flexible. Besides hanging 2 x 3.5"/2.5" drives at the back of the motherboard tray, you can freely apply the 3.5" hard-drive cage into the upper chamber or move it to the lower chamber to suit your needs.

There's more choice than ever before, but which computer case is right for you and which features should you look out for?
Date Issued: 20th Oct 2008
The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008
Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.
