Product Overview Thermaltake Core V51 mid-tower chassis, a new member of the Core Series, which now comes after the launch of Core V71 and Core V1, retaining the curved metal mesh look and delivering an outstanding cooling performance with the compatibility for the extensive DIY/AIO LCS, and the air cooling units that the series has become so very well known for. Core V51 is an enthusiast’s grade mid-tower that creates unprecedented space for high-end hardware and liquid cooling expansion, supporting the latest E-ATX, ATX, Micro ATX motherboards, and all high-end GPU cards. Features Enthusiast Design
Designed for gamers, the perforated top panel allows easy heat dissipation and rapid air intake for maximum ventilation. The heightened case-stands at the bottom help to enhance airflow and overall stability during operation. Featuring a transparent side window to offer a direct view of the inner system.

Tool-free Installation
Innovative 5.25” & 3.5” tool-free drive bay design has minimized the hassles of installing/removing. “2 + 5” drive bays with modular drive racks, a typical ratio for accessory and storage devices.

Fully Modular Design
A highly customizable 5.25” & 3.5” drive bay feature enables users to freely interchange the 3.5” hard-drive cages to suit their needs and remove the 5.25” & 3.5” drive bays to gain maximum interior space for advance cooling performance or liquid system build.

Advanced Ventilation
Core V51 delivers an outstanding cooling performance, consisting of DIY/AIO liquid cooling systems and air cooling units. Two 120mm intake fans are hidden behind the front dust filter, quietly pushing vast amounts of air over the hard drives and GPUs. The air is then extracted by the third 120mm fan at the rear. Additionally, with the aid of the cable management design guaranteed to take the cooling performance to the next level.

High-end Complete Solution
Core V51 enables users to build a complete high-end system, whilst supporting up to either 420mm radiator liquid cooling, or 200mm case fans, with a long graphic card at the same time, and simultaneously protecting the user’s hardware as well as increasing the CPU’s overclocking potential. Most importantly, it has the capability to deliver an outstanding cooling efficiency throughout the entire case.

Chassis Airflow
Date Issued: 20th Oct 2008

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Top quality product Hi all, My son & I decided it was time for a new gaming rig. The build was as follows including the V51 case Bequiet 700w PSU 250GB Crucial SSD 2TB WD HDD Core i7 4790K + Asus Z97-P Bun SH-224FB/BEBE 24x DVDRW BLK 2x8GB Cors Veng PRO DDR3L-1866 Asus NVIDIA GTX 970 STRIX Gaming Graphics Card UCACO-FI30001-GB i30 cooler Basically we ended up with a completely silent rig which blows the wheels off of any game that we throw at it(gaming on a Dell 1920 24" panel. The case looks fantastic although it is a big beastie. Boot up time on W7 is 10 secs to desktop, truly amazing and the only time i know its running is when the DVD drives spins a game up. Seriously, its that quiet. Would buy again and very happy with the service from Scan, :) 29 March 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by High End, indeed Excellent case, with plenty of space for everything you want to put inside. Is big and you can add up to nine 120 mm fans. Definitely worth the money. 27 March 2016
