Big in Volume, Big in Tone
solid cedar topThe gorgeous Winterleaf TW10E from Tanglewood sports a solid cedar top, a very popular choice for acoustic guitar tops, and for good reason too due to its highly responsive nature as a tonewood. This, combined with the mahogany back and sides ensures the TW10E not only sings with a rich and loud voice, but also looks fantastic too!
The dreadnought style body helps give the TW10E a large, rich sound with plenty of low end and plenty volume to fill the room. The cutaway design also helps in accessing the higher frets much easier and importantly, more comfortable. An invaluable feature for lead work and adventurous melodies!
Tapered Parallel Bracing System
beautifully ConstructedThe TW10E’s neck is made using mahogany and sports a smooth 'Eboncore' fingerboard. At the top end of the neck you’ll find a ‘NuBone’ nut spanning 43mm in width. The bridge is comprised of 'Techwood' to help in the transfer of string vibration to the solid cedar top whilst the saddle uses ‘NuBone’ and helps to keep rocksolid intonation.
The machineheads feature a chrome finish and offer the upmost in tuning stability. The TW10E’s bridge pins are black ABS with white dots. The gorgeous binding which wraps around the body is black and white and makes for a very securely built guitar and adds that extra bit of aesthetic flair. Inside the guitar you’ll find special tapered parallel bracing by celebrated luthier Michael Sanden which really helps in ensuring the TW10E sings with fantastic resonance.
custom on-board PREAMPFor when you need that extra bit of volume for bigger venues, Tanglewood included a B-Band M45OT-1 EQ/Preamp system built-in to the guitars body. The custom B-Band pickup and preamp also sports a highly responsive 3-band EQ with smooth slider controls to enable you to sculpt your tone just how you like it!

Each guitar goes through a 22 step professional guitar set up process to make sure your new instrument sounds as the manufacturer intended it to play.
This means that your guitar may take an extra day to deliver, just so we can get these checks done. You’ll receive email updates once your guitar is ready for despatch.
