Beautiful pictures with breathtaking detailsThe 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD is a travel zoom lens featuring a high resolution, the world’s first all-in-one zoom with a speed of F/2 for mirrorless full format system cameras. It covers the most common focal length range from 35mm wide angle to 150mm telephoto. Built for all travel photography situations, from landscapes and architecture to portraits and group shots to everyday snapshots, even for motif scenes with little light. The fast and precise autofocus with VXD technology allows you to capture every moment in sharp detail. The inspiring and unique combination of a large focal length range, high speed and advanced technology in one lens opens up new creative freedom.
Spectacular Close-Ups
Short 0.33m Focusing DistanceIn the 35mm wide-angle position, the shortest setting distance is only 0.33 m, which corresponds to a maximum magnification of 1:5.7. The large aperture ensures excellent exposure of the motif and a beautiful background blur. The combination of a short close-up distance and high speed also enables many creative photos, such as indoor food shots.
All Focal Lengths In One Zoom Lens
35mm
150mm
From wide angle to telephotoWith the 35-150mm F/2-2.8, users have more options than ever before with just one lens. The fast zoom lens covers the entire focal length range from 35mm wide angle to 150mm telephoto. A multitude of different image sections can be realised from one location - ideal conditions for creative photography. At 150mm, you can achieve impressive portraits with pinpoint sharpness and an attractive bokeh effect with a maximum aperture of F/2.8. At 85mm, the closer proximity to the person being photographed gives the photos an even more intimate feel. 50mm and 35mm are classic focal lengths for landscape, coverage and street photography.
Refreshing New Design
Ease of useNot only the inner workings of the high-speed standard zoom lens have been comprehensively renewed in favour of greater ease of use, but also its outer shell. The design of the 35-150mm F/2-2.8 is trend-setting for the upcoming Tamron lenses. The focus and zoom rings have a better grip thanks to a new corrugation. In contrast to previous models, the lens barrel is also characterized by a glossy surface that is particularly scratch and dirt-resistant.
Compatible With Tamron Lens Utility Software
Personal CustomizationThe 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD incorporates the new ‘Tamron Lens Utility’ software originally and uniquely developed by Tamron. Tamron Lens Utility can be operated using a computer by connecting the lens from its Connector Port via the optional Tamron Connection Cable. Users can customize the functions and update the firmware through the lens. The personal customization gives flexible shooting options to match the shooting situation such as still photography or videography.

Additional Features
Moisture Resistant ConstructionThe lens is splash-resistant. All critical areas have special seals. Lenses with this feature are ideal for outdoor use in bad weather.
Voice-Coil Extreme-Torque DriveThe VXD autofocus guarantees fast and precise focusing on both near and far objects. The quiet focus motor responds at lightning speed and is particularly suitable for images of moving objects.
Fluorine CoatingFluorine Coating protects the front lens from contamination. It prevents oil and water droplets from sticking to the surface. Fingerprints and dirt are easier to remove.
Zoom LockThe ZL mechanism prevents unwanted extension of the tube during transport. The lock, which is activated by a switch, protects the lens from damage and at the same time guarantees that it is quickly ready for use.
Aspherical LensAspherical lenses correct spherical aberrations (focus errors) in zoom lenses. They can replace several other optical elements without loss of quality, contributing to a more compact lens design.
Low DispersionLD elements have particularly low colour dispersion index. They reduce chromatic aberrations that appear as colour fringes on the contrast edges and reduce image sharpness.
Internal FocusInternal focusing prevents the barrel from extending and rotating during focusing. The lens is easier to handle and is suitable for use with polarising or gradation filters.
