Tamron - '28-200mm F/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD Lens'
Sony E Mount
Unprecedented Blend Of Optical Performance And VersatilityThe 28-200mm F/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD Lens is an all-in-one zoom lens created by Tamron and the world’s first to feature a large maximum aperture of F2.8 at 28mm, delivering a high-level performance from 28mm wide-angle to 200mm telephoto, while remaining lightweight and compact. The lens makes use of special lens elements, including LD and XLD, to greatly suppress chromatic aberrations, bring edge to edge image quality to your work. This invocative all-in-one zoom lens is capable of capture anything, from landscapes to portraits and snapshots.
From Wide-Angle Shooting To Telephoto
28mm
200mm
A Versatile Lens That Does It AllThe 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 covers an expansive range of focal lengths from 28mm to 200mm. This empowers diverse photographic expression, from wide-angle shooting of sweeping landscapes to close-up and compressive compositions at telephoto. The compact design measures 117mm (4.6 in) and a weighs 575g (20.3 oz) so it’s easy to carry anytime, anywhere.
Outstanding Close-Up Performance
Astonishing For An All-In-One Zoom LensAt 28mm, the MOD (Minimum Object Distance) is 0.19m (7.5 in) with a magnification ratio of 1:3.1; at 200mm the MOD is 0.8m (31.5 in) with a magnification ratio of 1:3.8.
Capture stunning close-up images and leverage the bokeh utilizing a large F-number and enjoy unique close-ups that were not possible with all-in-one zoom lenses until now.
67mm Filter Size
Tamron Offers A Unified System Of LensesCombine the 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 with other members of Tamron’s lineup of 67mm filter size lenses and cover an even wider range of scenes. The shared 67mm filter size enables efficiency in filter use; the same polarizer filters, or other filters, and lens caps can be shared between all models.

Additional Features
Zoom Lock
The ZL mechanism prevents unwanted extension of the tube during transport. The lock, which is activated by a switch, protects the lens from damage and at the same time guarantees that it is quickly ready for use.
Aspherical Lens
Aspherical lenses correct spherical aberrations (focus errors) in zoom lenses. They can replace several other optical elements without loss of quality, contributing to a more compact lens design.
Fluorine Coating
Fluorine Coating protects the front lens from contamination. It prevents oil and water droplets from sticking to the surface. Fingerprints and dirt are easier to remove.
Internal Focus
Internal focusing prevents the barrel from extending and rotating during focusing. The lens is easier to handle and is suitable for use with polarising or gradation filters.
Low Dispersion
LD elements have particularly low colour dispersion index. They reduce chromatic aberrations that appear as colour fringes on the contrast edges and reduce image sharpness.
Extra-Low Dispersion
XLD elements have particularly low colour dispersion index. They reduce chromatic aberrations that appear as colour fringes on the contrast edges and reduce image sharpness.
Moisture Resistant Construction
The lens is splash-resistant. All critical areas have special seals. Lenses with this feature are ideal for outdoor use in bad weather.
Rapid Extra-Silent Drive
RXD autofocus is highly responsive, making it ideal for shooting stills and video of subjects in motion. A sensor constantly detects the current focus setting, allowing the continuous autofocus (AF-C) to precisely target the rotation angle required for focus at lightning speed.
