The focal length range covers from around 27mm to 450mm (35mm equivalent) with the world's first 16.6x magnification for mirrorless APS-C cameras and 15cm minimum focusing distance, it brings the best of Tamron's "all-in-one" philosophy to Fujifilm X mount. Featuring best-in-class Autofocus with Tamron's VXD linear motor technology providing fast and precise focusing aided by the proprietary Vibration Compensation system to stabilised for any unwanted movements even at ultra-telephoto focal lengths.

Best-in-class AF with VXD technologyThe autofocus system of the 18-300mm F / 3.5-6.3 VC VXD is based on the VXD linear motor technology developed by Tamron, which focuses on the motif quickly and precisely. Even with the 300mm telephoto position, the focus changes from the minimum setting distance to infinity within a very short time. As autofocus works almost silently, the lens is also ideal for photo and video recordings in situations where absolute silence is required.
Vibration Compensation
VC image stabiliser for sharp imagesThe lens has Tamron's VC image stabilisation, which compensates for unwanted camera movements in poor lighting conditions, such as indoors or after sunset. In addition, it is equipped with artificial intelligence that automatically selects the optimal VC setting for video recordings with focal lengths of up to 70mm.

Zoom Lock MechanismThe ZL mechanism prevents unwanted extension of the tube during transport. The lock, which is activated by a switch, protects the lens from damage and at the same time guarantees that it is quickly ready for use.
Internal Focusing SystemInternal focusing prevents the barrel from extending and rotating during focusing. The lens is easier to handle and is suitable for use with polarising or gradation filters.
