The machineheads are diecast and sport a chrome finish, offering flawless tuning stability and react to even the smallest of tuning adjustments.
The saddle showcases Takemine’s 2-piece saddle design. A unique feature to Takamine guitars, the reasoning behind the 2-piece design is to solve any intonation issues. Strings 3-6 share one saddle, and the remaining 2 have their own. These are set at unique angles to offer unparalleled intonation. A fine touch indeed.
The fingerboard is made of Ovangkol a great sounding wood with a full midrange, which allows for smooth, fluid playing up and down the neck. The GD20-NS is truly a sight to behold.
