It’s thanks to this hard work and close-working relationship with artists that Takamine are able to produce such beautiful and well-crafted instruments such as the GD11M from the ‘G-Series’.
The Takamine GD11M is a dreadnought acoustic guitar, who’s voice boasts a powerful low-end with crisp highs and packs an incredible amount volume. The GD11M sports a rich mahogany top with mahogany back and sides, alongside a smooth, rosewood fingerboard which plays like a dream, in an aesthetically pleasing, beautiful natural finish.
Every so often a guitar comes along that not only looks the part, but manages to sound the part too. The Takamine GD11M is one such guitar.
Stunning Mahogany Body
incredible playability The GD11M features a rich natural satin matt lacquer finish which certainly helps to show off the stunning grain patterns of the mahogany, the GD11M has the look of a guitar costing far more and represents incredible value for money. Delivering a huge tone full of character, the GD11M’s voice is rich in harmonic content and is certainly not lacking in the volume department. These characteristics make this guitar perfect for almost any style of music and any level of guitarist, novice or experienced. From blues to country styles, to finger picking arpeggios and strummed open chords, the GD11M is a great choice.
Excellent Components
Smooth rosewood fingerboard
The GD11M features a slim, satin-finish mahogany neck and is matched with a rosewood fingerboard, which makes for superb playability and feel. Pearloid dot inlays across the 21-fret fingerboard are a nice touch to see and are just another great aesthetic feature that Takamine added to this great looking guitar.
Chrome die-cast machineheads sit nicely atop the headstock, 3 each side and offer fantastic tuning stability and react to even the most minute tuning adjustments with great accuracy and precision.
Moving further down the GD11M, you'll find Takamine included a scratchplate to protect the guitars magnificent finish from scratches incurred from strumming, and a rosewood bridge with a one piece saddle.

It doesn’t matter what the value of the guitar, if you buy it from us we take extra steps to ensure you are completely satisfied with your instrument. Each guitar goes through a 22 step professional guitar set up process to make sure your new instrument sounds as the manufacturer intended it to play.
