Spectral Comparison EQ

Work smarter Tidying up frequencies in the mix to allow room for other instruments to breathe is the key to a great mix. Cubase 10.5 Pro’s new Spectral Comparison mode in the Channel EQ section is designed to help you easily visualise where action is needed. Simply route a second signal from any track into the EQ for a visual comparison of spectral curves in the EQ display. Switch between the EQ controls of the source track and comparison channel and tweak the mix without losing track of what you’re currently doing.
Video Export Render

Export video with ease The ability to score to picture is one of Cubase’s many fantastic strengths. With 10.5 Pro you can now easily export video images (and audio) for your clients and collaborators direct from within the DAW. This great new features allows you to render videos as mp4 with H.264 video compression and 16-bit stereo audio in 44.1kHz and 48kHz. Choose to export either the whole video or selected footage, adding the timecode to the video export for the step in your production process.
MultiTap Delay

streamlined workflow The addition of MultiTap Delay is made for musicians and includes all the inspiring and creative options you could need. Upto 8 taps for each delay loop can easily be created and then edited as much as you wish. Cubase 10.5 Pro allows you to add effects with one click to the complete output, or just the delay loops, or even each individual tap. Whilst different character presets deliver the sound of of digital delays or vintage echo’s.
Padshop 2

create unique sonic sculptures The highly praised granular synthesizer Padshop 2 has undergone vast improvemtns and now has even more tools to encourage your creativity. At the centre of Padshop 2 is the new spectral oscillator which opens the door to unheard soundscapes and allows you to turn your own samples into magnificent and unique sonic landscapes. Add flavour to your sounds with the newly added arpeggiator and add some effects for that finishing touch. Choose from the 100 new presets or get to work creating your very own straight away.
Colourised Mixer Channels

easily keep track of where you are It’s imperative to maintain a clear visual overview as your project grows to ensure your workflow isn’t slowed down by constantly losing track of where things are located. Cubase 10.5 Pro adds the option to colourise channels in the mix console, leaving you to focus on the mix in hand as you can now intuitively find the channels you’re looking for.
Import Tracks From Projects

Intelligent and Intuitive Transferring data to and from projects or creating entirely new project templates has been made much easier thanks to the addition of the new track import function. Simply import multiple track types from your other projects and select the tracks attributes which you wish to import. Need to use the same drum mix for different projects? No worries, Cubase has your back. With one click, the Auto Map function can even match the newly imported tracks to existing tracks which share the same name.
Retrospective MIDI Record

No more frustration Have you ever delivered your best playing performance, but noticed you weren’t recording? Probably. It happens to us all. Fear not though, because the MIDI Retrospective Recording feature has undergone a complete overhaul to ensure this common frustration becomes a thing of the past. Cubase tracks your MIDI input, even when not recording, and brings back your chords and melodies as a stacked cycle or one continuous performance with just one click.
Combined Select Tools

for when time is of the essence ‘Combined Select Tools’ is a handy new feature which allows you to make your editing workflow much more economical by combining your two most used tools into one great feature. Activate the new tool mode and the selection tools for both objects and ranges can be used at the same time, with no need to change tools, leaving your workflow uninterrupted.
