The SR6600 is a fast and steady RAID storage system, it possess the capability of capacity expansion up to 5 hard drives and supports RAID 6 with high data security.
It offers 4 types of host interface - SCSI, eSATA, USB and FireWire 800. With its own built in RAID controller, the SR6600 works independently and does not affect the system’s performance. It is a perfect solution for SOHO or SMB to store and back up data. Or use it for video editing or DVR where reading and writing big files at the same time are necessary requirements.

You've probably read the USB Tekspek, and perhaps your intrigue, or product interest, has lead you to look up Firewire as well. The two are similar in some respects, particularly some of the products that use the two technologies. However, Firewire has its differences, which means it has both benefits and drawback when compared to USB. This Tekspek will look at Firewire and also look at it with respect to USB.
This TekSpek covers DAS and NAS, what they mean, what they’re used for and how they’re different. We’ll start by looking at the technology, then move on to the players in the market and how the market is moving forward.
