Soundcraft’s new ‘Mini Stagebox 32R’ is a simple solution to any stage connection issues, and offers a lower-cost option for many setups and rigs where modularity and configurability of the larger systems simply isn’t required.
Mini Stagebox 32R (3U) boasts 32 analogue inputs and 8 analogue line outs, alongside 4 pairs of AES outputs, which provides a total I/O capacity of 32 inputs and 16 outputs. The 32R connects to any of Soundcraft’s ‘Si Expression’, ‘Si Compact’, ‘Si Performer’, ‘Si Series’ and ‘Vi Series’ consoles, thanks to the MADI card fitted inside the option card slot.
Soundcraft’s Mini Stagebox 32R features a built-in PSU, meaning it is completely self-contained and is free to sit comfortably side-stage. This new range is part of the ‘ViSi Connect’ series of interface options for all Soundcraft mixing consoles which comprises of the Compact and Vi Stageboxes and a broad range of option cards such as MADI, AES and CobraNet. The 32R is supplied with the stagebox card installed, alongside the corresponding card for an Si series console (Vi console MADI cards sold separately).
